Medical Weight Loss Patient Testimonial - Linda C.

One of the most important aspects of our program is the medical setting. Our physician will continuously monitor your health. In addition, our nutrition staff will teach you important behavior modification skills for long-term results. Physical activity will be tailored to your medical needs and lifestyle. Medications, both pharmaceutical and natural, are available based on your individual circumstances.

We perform laboratory tests to assess your heart, liver, and kidney function, as well as cholesterol and blood sugar levels. We also evaluate your thyroid hormone. Your percent body fat, lean muscle mass, hydration and metabolic rate will be assessed and monitored throughout the program. Your first visit will include a physical exam by our physician.

Our services include weekly weigh-ins and visits with our nutrition staff, as well as periodic visits with the doctor. During these visits, we will discuss all issues associated with your weight: medical, behavioral, emotional and environmental. During your fourth week of the program, you will begin attending our weekly weight loss classes.

Liposuction Vs. LipoLift

Unwanted fat can be removed with minimal pain and downtime using the SlimLipo™ by Palomar. The laser is slipped through a very small hole in the skin and passed back and forth while it slowly dissolves the fat and destroys the fat cells. The fat is then gently sucked out through a small cannula. Unlike liposuction there is minimal pain, bruising and downtime. Unlike liposuction the skin is tightened during the course of the procedure. One to two liters of fat can be removed during the course of this elegant procedure. Treatment areas include abdomen, flanks, back, arms, neck, and thighs.
